Change of fee structure for Affiliate Program 🔗
In this article we will try to explain why and how we are changing our fee structure due to the introduction of the Affiliate Program.
How is the fee structure changing?
Until now, each redistribution was divided as follows:
The amount that goes into the redistribution is already reduced by the fees that the payment facilitator takes.
Most redistributions will continue to be split according to this formula, but if the sale occurs through a referral link, the redistribution for the first payment from the user will be split as follows:
The graph shows the whole from which the payments are calculated. So 15% is deducted from the money that comes into our accounts, and the percentages are calculated on the amount that remains, as with other redistributions. It is to be expected that only part of the redistributions will be redistributed in this way, the remaining redistributions will be calculated as before.
Why are we making this change? 🔗
We want everyone in our community to have the opportunity to help us promote our service and to be rewarded accordingly. As a result, this new division can also be written in such a way that instead of 70%, up to 74.5% of the subscriptions paid by our users will reach people in the community.
Affiliate links are an effective method of promotion and the goal of introducing affiliate links is to increase the turnover popularity of our marketplace. So this change means more money for everyone involved with BlenderKit.
Also it is another opportunity for you to expand your source of income. You can link to your assets and other people's assets on social media, under your YouTube videos or on your website.
