model: Procedural Ivy Generator Gn
UPDATED for Blender 4.2. Generate Procedural Ivy on any object using an origin mesh to determine the growth point. Completely procedural made only with Blender shader nodes and geometry nodes. Add the modifier to the object you want ivy on and add another object as the origin of the ivy. Finally, just tweak the parameters for the desired look. VERY IMPORTANT: The mesh that you want the ivy to grow on is being retopologized and this is a difficult process for many objects - you must tweak the <> until the ivy is visible, you can also choose to not use a retopology or to merge the mesh which might help in some cases. When tweaking the <> you can also check the <> checkbox to view the retopologized mesh to make sure it's being correctly created. All the comments that state this doesn't work in Blender 4+ do not take this into account.
