Procedural Base Helix Texture helps to create helix (spiral) textures (like candy canes) almost effortlessly. It produces color gradient (from 0.0 to 1.0) between each thread (if there are 2 or more threads used) or the thread's turn (if there is only 1 thread used).
Note: Add the Color Ramp node and play with the color swatches to see different results.
Steps per Thread – number of turns of a separate thread per unit length (height).
Threads – number of separate threads.
