model: Scan The Dasheng Pagoda
The Dasheng Pagoda is a pavilion-style brick pagoda with a hexagonal floor plan and a hollow interior, standing at a height of 42.38 meters. The main entrance is on the west side of the base, and an additional entrance is built above the lintel on the northeast side, serving as the entrance for ascending the pagoda. From the second level upwards, the method of ascent involves a winding passage through the walls, with alternating upward and downward slopes leading to flat landings. This ascent method is similar to that of the Ciyunsi Pagoda in Ganzhou, the Baofuyuan Pagoda in Shicheng, and the Dashengsi Pagoda in Xinfeng, indicating that the construction of Dasheng Pagoda should not be earlier than the Song Dynasty. Furthermore, according to the Jiajing edition of the "Jiujiang Prefecture Gazetteer," the pagoda underwent extensive renovations during the Hongwu and Yongle periods of the Ming Dynasty.
