Skydome rendered with Terragen: Bright sun from a mostly clear sky gives strong sharp shadows, a few clouds near the horizon and some patches of Alto-Cumulus add a sense of depth. Lighting in shaded areas has a strong top down blue tint which contrasts with bottom up neutral reflected light.

As the sunlight passes through simulated ice crystals Bright patches are produced either side of the sun, Sun-Dogs. While these will appear in sharp reduced intensity reflections as in the real world it will be necessary to either reduce exposure or the world emission strength to view it directly.

Lowered horizon and snow covered ground viewed from a standing height of 1.7m; not obvious if seen from higher.
