Modifier to bend any mesh along a curve without the problems associated with Blender's built-in Curve modifier. Includes an easily accessible script for anchoring the deformed mesh to any control point, with support for seamless animation. Objects can be bound to any curve, so deforming or straightening an already bent mesh is possible using this modifier.
(To register the script after linking Better Curve Deform you either need to run it in the Scripting workspace or simply save and reload your file. The script is only necessary for re-anchoring and the two associated "buttons" in the modifier panel. If you do not need this functionality you can simply delete the script's text block.)
