model: 1935 Monaco - Trossi Da Competizione
1935 MONACO - TROSSI DA COMPETIZIONE. This is a thoroughbred racing car, in 1935 it drove 200 kmh with 250 hp without a horn, without lights, without frills. Engine: 16-cylinder double radial engine 2 stroke. Capacity: 3982cc. Max. power: 250 hp at 6000 rpm. Max speed: 200 km/h. Weight - 710 kg. This revolutionary racing car was the brainchild of engineer Augusto Monaco and Carlo Felice Trossi, who put it through its paces at the 1935 Monza Grand Prix. Its most outstanding feature is the two-stroke engine with sixteen cylinders arranged in two rows and a single combustion chamber for each pair of cylinders. This was front mounted and air-cooled like an aircraft engine. Another novelty for that time was the front-wheel drive, which made the installation of a long transmission shaft unnecessary. I wish you a lot of fun with the model and may your scenes succeed.
